All you need is a good photo of your work; a place to link it to (either a web site or an e-mail address) and $50 -- $20 of which is a one-time set up fee. After that you pay just $30 per 50,000 impressions (or viewings) of your banner. At the moment, most banners are averaging 400 impressons per day.

As an added bonus, if you purchase a banner ad you will get free listings on the lessons/teambuilding and wedding/proposal castle pages (if these are services you provide, of course.) In case you haven't noticed, these two markets are exploding right now, and if you are not already taking advantage of them, you ought to be thinking about it.

Get Rotating

Here is the step-by-step process:

1. Prepare Your Banner: choose a photo of your work, one you are especially proud of. Resize or crop to measure 336 pixels wide by 280 pixels tall. Overlay your name, company name, e-mail address or phone number right onto the photo, similar to the examples on the right. Try to keep it simple and elegant. I will be choosing the most beautiful banners for the main (index) page from these, so if you want the greatest exposure, give me the best shot you've got. (Note: all banners that rotate through the index page are "freebies"; they don't count towards your 50,000 impressions.)

2. Visit the paysob page and deposit $50.00 via VISA, MC, paypal or electronic check. Once your payment has gone through, I will email account info that will allow you to upload your banner. This will also be the control panel where you can see how often your banner is being viewed and clicked. You can change out your banner any time you want, or even upload additional, multiple banners for rotation in your slot.

3. After 50,000 impressions, your banner will stop rotating. At that point, you can deposit another $30 for another 50,000 impressions. If you are broke, you can just let it rest until you are flush again. You will never have to pay the set up fee again. You are in control!

1. I am scared of all things computer. Will you do this for me?

No. It is cheap because I am too busy to mess with it! This stuff isn't rocket science; surely you have a computer wizard friend who can assist you. Buck up! You can do it!

2. Can I muck my banner up with a lot of big text shouting how wonderful a sculptor I am?

No. I am looking for something more elegant here. Your website should be selling your services; all I am doing here is helping you get more visitors to your site. Let your work speak for itself. I reserve the right to reject your banner if I think it is ugly.

3. But some of the banners I see here have lots of text!

They are old banners and will be rotated out of rotation once you give me some new banners to replace them with.

4. I am a contest organizer. Can I advertise my event on this site?

Absolutely! Just follow the above instructions and make sure your banner features a piece of awesome sand sculpture.

5. Why are you charging for impressions instead of clicks?

I know you people... no click fraud will occur on my watch.

6. Are there any limitations on file size, other than dimensions?

No. But please try to keep the file size to 40 kb or less. No flash or animation, please.

7. Can I sign up for more than one rotation slot?

Certainly! Each slot will require the one-time set up fee, but if you want to dominate this site with gorgeous photos of your work and don't mind spending the money, go for it!

8. I am already a paying advertiser. Do I get any credit for that?

But of course. Your set-up fee is waived and you will get all the impressions you have paid for. I would appreciate it if you would change out your banners for new ones at your earliest convenience, however. In fact, I encourage everyone who participates in this program to change out photos regularly - it will encourage visitors to come back if they know they will see new pictures every time they come.
